Gizmo – handsome Chihuahua/Boston terrier mix

 

Gizmo is a handsome Chihuahua/Boston terrier mix. He was rescued by his foster mum at a hi kill shelter at the front desk where someone was about to dump him.

I could see the fear in his eyes, he must have known what his possible fate could have been. His foster mum fell in love the moment she laid eyes on him. When she went to pet him, he immediately gave her such sweet kisses all over her face. She knew then and there she could not allow him to be put in the shelter. So she begged the lady to let her have him and off they went. Whew! how lucky was that.

He is sooo sweet, gentle and loving, not to mention smart too! He loves to go under covers at night and keeps his mum nice and warm. Gizmo just adores his new brothers and sisters and loves to play long and hard. He doesn’t mind the cats either and tries coaxing them to play.

Gizmo is about 9mo of age and weighs about 7 lbs (should be under 10 lbs fully grown). He has a very flashy look and carries himself well. He minds well and is housebroken.

Gizmo is extremely easy going and has no issues, his spirit is very gentle and he will make a perfect family member. What more could you ask for?

Tortie and Red

 

Tortie and Red- bonded pair’s Story…
Red and his sister Tortie are a very special bonded pair of kittens we rescued just before they were taken to the shelter. They’re very gentle little souls who need forever home that will provide them with the calm, safety they need.
Red and his sister are absolute snuggle kittens, but they will need an adopter who is willing to form a special bond and give them plenty of time to adjust to a new home. Their special need is they are tied around new humans.

They bonded instantly to the adult kitty at their foster home and show their love by sneaking into bed for gentle snuggles. They need love, lots of patience and nurturing, so we hope to find them that very special someone who truly loves and understands kitties and can help them blossom. A quiet home would be best.

Ryder – major snuggle bug

Well Hellooooo Alley!! Hello *Adorable*!! Just Look at this pretty baby! Alley is just a 4 month old kitten. Very Sweet li’l girl, who is kind of shy at first…but warms up to you pretty quickly.  She Loves to play…. is a professional biscuit maker, and purrrrrrrrrrrrrs her little heart out! Alley also loves other kitties, and loves to play too! She’s just a major sweetie pie!

Andrew

Start off the New Year with a loyal little buddy by your side. Mommy is adorable Fox Terrier, Daddy is the lothario of the neighborhood, a dashing white terrier scruff who has not met a fence that can contain him when his mind is set on the *ladies* – Born on 11/17/2012, the little sweethearts are now ready to find their forever homes.

Andrew is all baby boy – curious, intelligent, goof ball, and loves to flirt. Andrew is about 2 ½ lbs and will probably reach about 8 lbs as an adult.

Audrey’s Story…

Gorgeous little sassy thing . . . this girl was too young to be facing the pound and younger still to be pregnant and yet . . . Sounds like a Lifetime movie, but this one will have a fairy tale ending.

Audrey is a lovely little Jack Russell Terrier mix with slightly longer legs. Super friendly, Audrey likes other dogs, gets along with cats and is good with children. Just 14 months old, about 15 lbs, Audrey was a great Mommy, but it is now time for her to get in touch with her inner puppy and have her 2^nd chance. A truly adorable scruff, Audrey loves to play, snuggle and go for long walks with her little tail held high knowing her forever family is just around the corner.

Astro can thank his lucky stars, because after a car hit him, he made it out of the vet hospital in Springfield and found a temporary home with us. Astro’s a little nervous, but once he settles down, he loves people to pet him. He’s lean and lanky, and even though we think he’s fit to run a kitty marathon, he weighs almost 12 pounds!

They’re affectionate (big-time purrers and cuddlers), playful, and endlessly entertaining. They are also healthy, have had their shots, have been spayed, and are litterbox trained. A high energy bundle of joy

Cindy came to us because her family was splitting up. She’s never gotten the attention a young dog needs.

Cindy is super playful. She loves toys, and her favorite game is fetch. She’s a smart cookie and adapts well to positive training. She already knows “sit,” “down,” “stay,” “shake,” and “sit pretty,” and she’s learning more fun tricks like “roll over.” Cindy is house-trained, rides well in the car, and enjoys being brushed and groomed. She behaves well around the house and respects her boundaries.

This special girl needs an adult-only home with people who have experience with large dogs, so she can continue to develop into a well-adjusted dog. Cindy needs someone who’ll give her very clear rules, lots of love, and plenty of exercise. In return, she’ll be your loyal friend for life.
